While writing by hand is gradually disappearing, for me it is the basis of existence. I write something every day – into a notebook, onto paper, into a book or on the border of a newspaper. I have to write down what comes into my mind and I only feel right about it if I do it by hand. I freeze in front of a computer and I can’t think. My thoughts stem from my hands as I quickly try to put the words springing up in my mind down onto paper. I enjoy the curve of lines and it gives me a feeling of freedom that I can draw anything onto an empty sheet – even text. After all, writing by hand is nothing other than line drawing.
