In my youth I wanted to be a graphic artist and painter, and even at university I could neither understand, nor feel the relevance of design.
Even in my early projects in a design office I regarded drawing as the most important and most beautiful part of what I had to do. It was something that may have developed in me back then that my thoughts form into drawings at the moment of their conception, and that these drawings turn back into thoughts. This continual dialogue shapes my designs and goes on even when I am on the street, on a tram and in every moment of my life.
