The architect’s drawing is a creative tool of our manufacture, a metalanguage encompassing time and space. It is a means to communicate with intellectual giants and dwarfs alike. Drawing creates an equal opportunity for every architect. The architectural drawing is the naked truth and the primary interpreter of the mind.

The hand is linked to the heart and the cerebral convolution. It is personal, one-off, a testimony, confession and last will.

To quote my favourite haiku:

The blind is guided
by the ruler, give a free
hand to architects.
