I use sketches in the studio to communicate with my colleagues…sometimes I have a very clear idea of what I want say but when I am searching for something the sketch will be ambiguous, which can be productive because my colleagues see other possibilities in it.

Sketches are a response to a situation, where you are, who you are talking too and in what circumstances… so the sketches I can do here while you are filming will be different from those I would make in the studio…….
