The completed work is the documentation of the idea for the work. An architectural work is an imperfect realisation of this documentation, which is typically mistaken for the work per se. Good quality copies are made of these imperfect implementations and when they are disseminated through the media, more data is lost. Copies can often be confused with the original documentation made for a project. The building itself can be omitted.
Freehand drawing is an imperfect reflection of digital reality.
