My sketches are really diagrammatic. I always use sketch paper and what I do is to clean computer drawings by sketching on them in order to create a hierarchy, in order to make some kind of order. A working computer drawing’s very vague, very transitory and everything on it has the same value. So I need to take a step back and keep a distance from the computer to see things as they really are. I draw in different layers, but not in computer layers as mine are like spaces of special value, communication spaces, stairs, openings, views, connections, can be also infrastructure. In terms of balance, proportion or composition, at least for me, it is much easier to draw by hand. Somehow I need to clear and clean the computer drawings. In terms of architecture, it is much easier to draw than to speak.
